Chris Stewart began his law practice in Arkansas in a mid-size law firm practicing insurance defense litigation.  During that time he represented Wal-Mart, Georgia Pacific, Home Depot and many other corporations and insurance carriers in litigation.

Chris has extensive deposition and litigation experience, and his firm's practice focuses primarily on business litigation, debt collection and insurance defense litigation.  Additionally, Chris is an adjunct professor at John Brown University, Little Rock Campus.

Furthermore, with over five years experience in lobbying and government affairs, Chris exclusively handles our clients' government relations representation. He is personally associated with one of the most successful government affairs firms in Arkansas.

He has also consulted on numerous political campaigns and has been in the top management levels of two statewide campaigns. In 2004, Chris led a ballot initiative campaign to amend the state constitution. The campaign gathered a record 201,000 signatures to place the amendment on the ballot that later passed by 74 percent of the vote.

Currently, Chris serves as legal counsel for the Republican Party of Arkansas.  His political contacts in Arkansas on both sides of the aisle make him a valuable resource for any client needing representation before the state legislature.

Brian Bowen is a native of Little Rock, Arkansas.  He received his Bachelor of Arts from Hendrix College, and received his Juris Doctorate from the William H. Bowen UALR School of Law.

After graduating from law school, Brian worked as a Staff Attorney for one of Arkansas’s largest insurance companies.  His responsibilities included contract review, regulatory compliance, developing an electronic retention and destruction policy, and internal appeals for policyholders.

Brian then pursued a career as a litigation attorney for a nationwide firm representing injured railroad employees.  He has experience in depositions, settlement negotiations, Railroad Retirement Board appeals, Social Security Disability Appeals, as well as litigation in both federal and state court.

Brian brings experience as an attorney representing both plaintiffs and corporations.  He strives to put client’s needs first, and further instills the Stewart Law Firms policy of “our client’s priorities are our priorities.”
